Supervision is a space for support, encouragement, exploration, learning, creativity, challenge and discovery. It offers an opportunity for growth through the reflective space created by working with a qualified and experienced supervisor.
My aim and responsibility as a supervisor is to promote and facilitate highly competent, ethical practice. This work is guided by the requirements and frameworks of BACP, UKCP and/or your own professional body. We will work together to help you to reach your full potential as a professional.
I will be mindful and respectful of your individuality, your theoretical model, level of experience and working environment. My integrative training, ongoing clinical practice and professional development activities mean that I have a good knowledge of a wide range of theories, although I believe that learning is a life-long process. This was enhanced by 8 years experience as a BACP Accreditation assessor.
I have a Diploma in Casework Supervision awarded by Cascade Training Associates in 2005 and substantial experience of supervising both individuals and groups, including trainee and experienced counsellors, psychotherapists and members of other helpiong professions - for example nurses, teachers, domestic violence professionals and members of the Clergy.
My hourly fee for supervision is £60.
